The Genesis God

At the beginning of 2024 the Lord spoke the Word, “Genesis”, over me as I sat kneeling in a closet praying. “Genesis”, it was as if He was saying, “I want to Genesis something in you, and Genesis something through you.” I felt the Holy Spirit resting on my back, sort of hovering over me as he hovered over the waters of this formless earth at the beginning of everything we know.

What did God need in the beginning? Did He need gold, silver, great personality and endless talents? What did He need in order to Genesis Adam and Eve, and their Garden paradise, ripe and full of purchase, potential, and purpose. Did He need anything?

The reality of all is this, God doesn’t need any raw material to work with. He doesn’t need you. In fact, the raw material that you are, came out of nothing.

The more nothing you are, the more something God is released to do more in you and through you. A still life, full of dying things is rich with glory ore in Papa’s eyes. He delights in the needy, the nothing and the no ones. Me and you. If you still think you are something, or want to be something or want to be someone, God’s hands are tied.

His love wants an affair with you. But if your affair is with yourself, you will never see God. He looks for eyes that are searching deeply for Him. Longing to drink of His soul, His heart, His spirit, His Words, His love.

Genesis… and God said, let there be Light. Your salvation spark of creation within was just the beginning to being born again. You have been conceived in the spirit. Something is forming. But it hasn’t appeared fully. Just be still, receive and await simply trusting as God births you through many trials and tribulations into a fully fledged son of the Most High God. Than you will be revealed as a manifested son of God, little brother and sister of Jesus, His bride, His reward.
