Removal of things can bring joy
As Christians, we have a new nature at the core of our beings that possess resources and powers that remain largely untouched our entire lives.
Those seasons which threaten to break up our ship, are the times when we would look for salvation in all the wrong places. In a cup, person or place; thinking that it is the lack of something good we need that will bring happiness and relief from our depression.
But the very nature of the Christian is joy unspeakable, peace unimaginable, and love unconditional. So that by the Spirit of God and his relationship to us through the spiritual man he is birthed us to be, we have every resource we could ever need for life and happiness.
So with the Christian, the great truth is that it is by the removal of things for times and seasons that can bring greater revelations of happiness. Fasting of sorts. The removal of a friend by relocation brings more time in our calendar for us to discover intimacy and contentment on the spiritual side rather than only the natural side.
The removal of food brings more clarity of heart and mind as it is no longer occupied with the emotions of the gut. The gut becomes quieter and quieter, and so does the mind. And those natural oils of the spirit begin to seep through the organs and body with a divine joy and contentment that blesses all of your being.
But these things come with great sacrifices. It is by great sacrifice that we come to know The Great Sacrifice within our hearts.
So the removal of things that can be shaken reveals those things that cannot be shaken. And you’ll be surprised at just how much there is that remains steadfast and immovable - always abounding in the Lord.
So, if you are in a season of Great Depression and difficulty, the gift of God adding something may bring you joy, and may be your hope; but I tell you, the more sure thing is that contentment with what is, and the choice to pair down even further will bring you to a breakthrough of who you really are, having the power to overcome this situation by the supernatural being God has birthed you to be within your old man.
Fast and pray that you may not enter into temptation. This Jesus said in a most difficult hour of testing, hour of decisions of the will, and hour of great temptations by the snake of the mind.
Fast and pray that you may see this excess demons that torment your soul and the souls of others. And God may grant you the boldness to spend the power within to command and cast out those demons of excess that torture suffering souls. Cast out the slave woman and her child. Cast her out!
