Am I blessed?

“For I will pour out my Spirit upon your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.” Isaiah 44:3

Am I blessed? What is a blessing? Well the first thing I thing of is Adam receiving the Creators blessing to multiply and re-create in His name.

The next picture that comes to mind is of Jacob conferring blessing upon his twelve sons before he dies.

Then, I think of Elijah’s blessing or anointing coming on Elisha as he’s leaving by a rapture.

Then Jesus instructs his disciples to wait for the promise of the Father… the blessing. The outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon all flesh.

Did you receive the Fathers blessing when you first believed? Or have you yet to be blessed by the Spirit of the Father?
